You know it's too quiet when ...

As most moms can tell you - Liz excluded because her children have supernatural self-sufficiency skills, but I enviously digress - you know it's too quiet when you've relaxed with a cup of (still warm!) tea and a magazine long enough to think to yourself, "Wow, they are upstairs playing so sweetly together. Not a fuss. Not a shout. Just some quiet giggles. Isn't this wonderful?"

And then you see them ...



The icing on the cake? The RED marker colored furiously on Parker's forehead likens to the red dye that exploded throughout Brady's room not too long ago ... it does NOT come out with easy scrubbing. I guess we'll have an early tubby time tonight to build in some extra scouring.

Oh well, I did get to enjoy a half a cup of warm tea! And P.S. they did look pretty cute.
