Run Daddy Run!

The ING Georgia Marathon and Half Marathon reached it's goal of 15,000 runners for the race Sunday, and Bill was happily among them. The heavy rains of Friday and Saturday gave way to clear skies and dry air Sunday morning, leaving the temperature cool and refreshing.

Bill ran the 13-mile half marathon race in 1:48:05 at a finish pace of 8:14, besting his time from last year's race of 2:01:19. Yeah for Bill!!!

Between the raindrops on Saturday Brady, Parker and I went down to the GA Dome with Bill to pick up his race packet and to check out the ING Marathon Health Fair. While they had no jumpy houses (as Brady remembers from last year), the boys did enjoy a Dove ice cream bar, so they were happy!

An impressive time like that deserves lots of chocolate-covered edamame!
